  1. I think she's afraid to be alone. It's what keeps people in bad relationships. "The devil you know is better than the devil you don't" sort of thing. It's a scary world out there especially if no one has your back.
  2. Because she has known you a long time and you have a much stronger connection and history, and/or she's not communicating with him on that level.
  3. I don't know that a few suggestive messages from prosecuter guy is any sort of dealbreaker as other posters have suggested. You're in the midst of a breakup, she's distressed and vulnerable and he's working her and exploiting her weakness. As to the rest of it, I'll simply echo the words of others. Maintain strict NC minimum 30 days then re-evaluate at that time.
  4. What the heck is a "Porn Complaint Department" anyway? "Please take a number and have a seat and you'll be called to the window shortly. Ok number 172 please step up. What's your issue?" "Hi, I'm not seeing enough scenes with anal lately what can be done about that, thank you?" This is a serious question.
  5. They were together a year but the parents only knew that they talked for a week prior to him springing the whole marriage idea. At least that's what I got out of it. It's sort of a mystery that has to be deciphered
  6. Perhaps take a bit more time and read through the entire thread before posting. Just a suggestion, take it or leave it.
  7. Her parents were ok with a random person proposing to their daughter but forbid her from marrying you. Sorry but it's not looking too good
  8. I'm not offended. I posted a zipped smiley to show that I wasn't going to say anything in response to your post where you insisted you didn't recommend he contact her, whereas your prior post was clearly all about him contacting her and even going so far as to tell him what he should say when he did contact her.
  9. It's quite possible the local authorities have advised her that the best way to deal with a stalker is to ignore them because any contact encourages them to keep trying.
  10. I don't know if you're pathetic but you certainly don't know how to take a hint.
  11. That makes him sound like a weak sap who is all about himself and his inability to cope. It will gain him nothing and after she rejects him again he'll probably sink even lower.
  12. Your ex went to the tattoo shop with the other girl. Your ex knew where the tattoo shop was and the name of the tattoo shop. Yet you called the other girl to ask her the name and location of the tattoo shop. You also drink too much at parties and make a scene which turns people off especially your ex boyfriend. Seems to me like you're all about the drama and the guy might have cared for you but it was too much work.
  13. You might not think so but it's not a matter of liking it. It's a matter of doing what you need to do to get your head back on straight. You just might end up involuntarily committed to a 30 day in patient rehab facility, would that be better?
  14. It's an investment, like buying gold or bitcoin. If the money's there I'm not seeing a problem with it and I don't see it as being insane. Heck a gold bracelet with diamonds could easily cost twice that much. Do you buy her expensive jewelry?
  15. Toxic and abusive aren't the only reasons to leave someone behind and never look back. You can't expect a group of perfect strangers to give you a good answer based on one sentence!
  16. You are definitely an alcoholic and you need to get yourself into AA as in yesterday. Sure you can drink in a pub! There are all sorts of nonalcoholic beverage available and from what I understand they taste as good as, if not better than, the real thing. And you don't end up feeling ill for days and you don't have to worry about messing up your life or gambling with your health. Also antidepressants and alcohol don't mix well, at the very least the alcohol negates some of the positive affects of the medication and at worse it can have a combination effect and really knock you off your so
  17. You could also say if he's the sort of guy that runs away when a woman is open and honest with him about her feelings, that he wouldn't be a good fit for you.
  18. Not seeing anything wrong with what you said. My guess is he was looking for some quick sex and the rejection turned him off. You probably never had a chance no matter how you worded it. There's always the possibility he'll still reach out to you and just got busy.
  19. As a kid I was so into my next door neighbor friend's mom. Nowadays if I was to live out the MILF fantasy she'd have to be at least 80. 🤨
  20. Odd, it says "1 year later" above the post above mine, but it's been 2 years.
  21. Don't fool yourself. Every girl, or woman, or man, or boy who is pulling away from a current relationship has the potential to be interested in, or is already involved with someone new.
  22. I guess I'm a bad character. I've never used a condom and we're talking a sexual history that spans over 40 yeras and dozens of women. They just never worked for me, it wrecked my mood and softened my penis. Except for a small handful of one nighters over the years I've only had sex in committed exclusive relationships. If they weren't using protection I'd use the pull out method which I know is controversial but it always worked for me.
