  1. Thanks for that response, it was pretty much what I was looking for. It did raise another question, though. If she was able to get over me, why wasn't I able to get over her?
  2. I do plan on talking to her, even though it won't be easy for me and I'll probably screw it up somehow. Can anyone awnser that question, though(the first part of the question)?
  3. I posted here awhile ago with one of my problems(I'll post the story again). About a year and a half ago, I got a little crush on this girl. I messed up, and I overheard one of her friends say something like "That kid definitely likes you". I'm assuming that is what caused her to like me. It was obvious that she liked me, but I choked and never talked to her. She seemed to kind of give up after a few months. But I never got over her. Unfortunately, I'm a moron and didn't take the whole "go talk to her" advice. I still like this girl and I finally plan on taking some action. I've just got a few questions that you guys can hopefully awnser: I've never been so attracted to someone whom I barely know. I've tried just about everything to get over her, and nothing seemed to work. Why am I drawn to her, and is it possible that she feels remotely the same way about me? Would it be alright to ask someone(one of my friends, kinda. I can trust him with this at least) if she has a boyfriend? Thanks in advance.
  4. I don't think that a two year difference is a big deal either.
  5. Turn on: Kindness. Turn off: A "I'm better than everyone else" attitude.
  6. One year isn't a big deal at all. Just make sure that those girls don't want to go out with you just to be cool.
  7. I see what your saying about people not being required to be friends but imo I have a right to know why, especially since he acts like my friend in school.
  8. Alright well my friend is coming up for the summer again (he moved to arizona a few years ago). Now my problem is that after he left the last time he came up for the summer me and my other friend don't really talk to each other anymore. Normally I could just tell him this but I don't even know why we aren't really friends anymore. After my friend left my other friend just stopped hanging out with me and a few of my other friends. He would make bs excuses and eventually I just stopped making any effort to contact him. So when my friend comes up we'll both probably end up calling him and I don't know what to do after that, especially since I'm pretty sure I know what he's gonna do. He's probably gonna hang out with us and act like nothing happened. So what should I do? I've only thought of one thing and there's no way in hell I'm just letting it go. I just read this and its kinda confusing so if anyone wants me to label my friends just ask.
  9. Only some girls are like that. Half of the girls that are like that aren't worth the effort anyway.
  10. I guess I have issues then. I wouldn't take it as a compliment, especially if it was a stranger. Its uncalled for, and it makes for a bad first impression.
  11. I think she said that she likes you too because either she meant I like you as a friend or maybe she does like you but she doesn't want a relationship because it could jeopardize your friendship with her. The bottom line is she doesn't want a relationship with you so you've gotta try and move on.
  12. Yeah I've asked him that, he said something about it being his mom but it isn't.
  13. Yeah your right. I'll wait for a good opportunity (when her friends aren't around) and start a conversation. Its not going to be easy for me but no matter the outcome its better than wondering what would have happened if I didn't do it. P.S. Everyone that posted here, thanks for the advice.
  14. Well for one thing it was spur of the moment when he decided to ditch all of his friends. The only difference that I know of is that the people he hangs around with only wear black. (and your probably thinking gothic but they're not, I've hung around with some of those people before)
  15. This happened awhile ago but It still puzzles me. A few years back one of my two best friends moved to arizona and my other best friend pretty muched ditched me and the rest of my friends. I can't figure that out but what makes it weirder is he would be normal in school but if anyone wanted to do something afterschool he would make an excuse and say that he couldn't do it. Eventually he found some new friends and he hangs around with them afterschool. Anyone know why someone would do this?
  16. I don't think it means anything if it happens just once but if it happens again than I would say she likes you.
  17. Just to make sure we are on the same page here. Even though its become really awkward between us (because I'm pretty sure she knew I liked her before) I should still talk to her, pretty much just go up to her and say something like hey hows it going?
  18. Alright, I do have a history with this girl. It was a few years ago, I believe I was in 7th grade and she was in 5th and she had a crush on me. Every chance she got she would talk to me and ask me random questions (like how my day was and what I was doing and such.) Eventually she just asked me if I liked her and I told her I liked her as a friend and she hasn't talked to me since. I actually kinda feel bad about it because she really did try hard to become more than friends and letting her down like that must have crushed her. As far as I know she doesn't have a boyfriend. I've been hesitant to ask her for a few reasons: Well since that time I've lost a lot (My two best friends, one moved to arizona and the other one just sorta ditched me, then at the beginning of the year a girl I used to be good friends with, and had known since kindergarden killed herself.) and its crushed my confidence for anything. I've kinda gotten over those things but I think she found out I liked her before and now its just kind of awkward. Another thing is her friends, they "hate me" and I honestly can't figure out why she is friends with either of them. (one of them doesn't even have a reason to hate me) Well, I hope that awnsers some of your questions and I hope you can help me.
  19. I dunno if it takes time or not but even when I liked someone else I still thought about her a little. I've thought about talking to her and that isn't going to be easy at all. As for the girl thats engaged to the jerk, I think she likes you but she probably still has feelings for the guy she is still engaged to.
  20. definitely #2, pretty much because I would have the same interests (or some at least). A relationship based solely on physical attraction and sex usually doesn't last long. (at least from what I've seen)
  21. Not sure if anyone can awnser this but I'm going to give it a shot and ask anyway. I've had a crush on this girl for about a year now and no matter how hard I try I can't tear myself away from liking her. I convince myself that I don't like her but as soon as I see her I like her again. I'm pretty much asking why does this happen and is there any way to stop it?
  22. Considering what you've all said I'm starting to think the word cute differs with people, so I guess it just depends on the person.
  23. One more question. Is being called handsome pretty much the same as being called cute or is their a big difference?
  24. Just wondering but is it a good thing or a bad thing or does it depend on the situation?
