  1. For girls and guys, why is it sometimes that a girl can find you attractive, but not acknowledge you in passing. Like today me and my friend were standing in the hall and this girl who I know finds me attractive through a friend and other incidents, walks up with her friend and totally ignored me as she passed and just said a brief hello and had a brief conversation with my friend who was beside me? I've talked to her before so it's not like I don't know her. For the girls... have you done something like this before and why?
  2. So are you attracted to her or not? I'm a guy and if I was in that position I would probably at least take a quick glance and then gauge her reaction to see whether or not it was done on purpose. I don't really get what you mean by it was all hanging out. Is she overweight?
  3. I'm not really talking about a specific case, I'm just trying to figure out this whole hair flipping thing.
  4. Yea well have you ever done it "just because" when making eye contact with a guy and walking past him?
  5. No.. There are two types of hair flipping I think. Flipping when not looking at someone, like when you're sitting down in class or wherever is usually just getting hair out of their face. Flipping when looking into a guys eyes while walking down a hall is usually a sign of attraction.
  6. Ok so I guess its pretty much common knowledge that if you walk past a girl and she flips her hair over her shoulders while looking you in the eye its a sign of attraction, but the question I have is whether or not this is subconscious? When girls do this do they KNOW that they are doing it, and do it to get the guy to approach or whatever. Or is it just instinctive and only shows attraction, which may or may not show that they want the guy to approach them.
  7. An interesting thing happened to me. I was walking down the hall on the wrong side of the hallway and this girl was walking right to me. We caught eyes and she maintained eye contact with me for quite a long time. I'd say around 10-15 seconds. It got to the point where I got weirded out and looked down. But when I looked back up she was still staring at me. I then moved over to my own side when I passed her and went on my way. Is this a sign of attraction or some sort of game she was playing?
  8. no i mean smiling just from hearing a guys voice. like i was talking to my teacher and this girl wasn't facing me so she didn't know who I was, but after I made the comment to my teacher I saw she was smiling. isnt that kinda weird?
  9. Smiling when a guy talks is usually a bad thing right? like hearing their voice.
  10. Ok on the first day of class we were in this pretty big room where the room was like a set of stairs, with some people sitting below and some up high. Anyways I was sitting all the way on the left of the room and this other girl was sitting all the way on the right side of the room, both of us by the walls. So the teacher says we have to go up to people and ask them a question or whatever to know them. Well everyone pretty much got up and talked to people around them, but this girl and her friend walked all the way accross the room to come talk to me. Then she started asking me all these questions about myself and stuff. So do you guys think she might be interested? Is it unusual for someone to walk all the way accross the room like that?
  11. It definitely depends on the situation. Cute is one of the most ambiguous words ever. I hate it. If a friend of yours (girl) calls you "cute" when you solicite it, like ask for her opinion, then it probably means you're only ok, or that she isn't attracted to you. But if a girl (stranger) approaches you and tells you that you're "cute" then its most likely a good thing. If a girl does this she most likely means cute as in good looking or hot or something, but since she doesn't really know she doesn't want to come out and say that you're hot. Also another thing I've noticed is that girls use "cute" when around the guy, but use "hot" and "sexy" or whatever else when with their friends, and not the guy.
  12. Ok in my class the seats are arranged so that two desks will be right next to each other (each side touching). One of the pair of desks had a girl sitting in one desk with the other desk right next to it empty. I chose the desk next to the girl since it was in the back. When I got there I moved the desk a little away so I wouldn't have to sit RIGHT next to her(I knew who the girl was, but didn't really know her personally). Anyways when I moved it the girl said why do you want to move it, while moving her desk right back to mine.
  13. Ok today I was the last guy in the class because I was asking my teacher a question, so this girl comes in and sits down. I guess since it was only me and my teacher in the class she was looking at me. Anyways as I was talking to him (my head was faced down, since he was sitting and I was standing) I could see her looking at me. Then when I looked up she smiled at me.
