  1. Yes, I totally agree with you as well...When I'm around the girl that I really like, I do almost every thing you mentioned above, and sometimes without even realizing it...
  2. OK, thanks for the advice man.. Alright, I'll try asking her out if the opportunity comes along, even though it scares me beyond belief... But yea i know, she is really confusing me, if any one else has any thoughts or comments on this matter, especially that shoe thing...It would be greatly appreciated, and I'll keep you all posted...
  3. Ok, I have to continue in this reply becuz it was too long for just the main thread. Anyways, after she said that i didn't really do anything differently for the next couple of days becuz i was very confused. Then, when V-day came along i decided to just go for it, and just ask her to the dance or something where else if she wasn't going. However, she had plans to go shopping, so i was crushed...She asked me if i was going to the dance and i mumbled "Not anymore". Then she came back next week with blonde streaks in her hair, which is another odd thing to do coming from her, but it might just be for her Grad pictures. Anyways at this point i was still frusterated that she still seemed to be paying no attention to me. At the end of one day I even waited for her outside her class for like 5 minutes, but when she came out i got nervous and just asked her what we had for homework... At this point, i was pretty sure that she had an idea that I like her. Still the next day no change in her attitude..., so i began to believe that she was just trying to avoid me or something. To make matters worse, i now realize that in the last class i was bragging about school and stuff, which i think can be a real turnoff. This was also her last day before she left on her trip, so i wanted to say "have a nice trip" or something, but i was so worried that i didn't say a thing to her even though i was walking out of the school right behind her all the way to the parking lot. Also, she didn't even glance back at me or anything. Well now she doesn't get back until this Friday, so i decided to get some opinions on this. I should also add that we both Graduate this year, so i don't have much time. Anywayz, I really want to ask her out, and ask her to Grad, but I don't know if shes just not interested, or just being shy. Any thoughts, advice, or tips would be greatly appreciated...
  4. OK, i might as well start from the beggining, i'm pretty shy around people i don't know that well, especially girls. I've never had a GF or even thought about it really until the last 3 weeks of my life. I've become very interested in one girl, who is shy in a similar way to me, maybe even more so. Shes the kinda person who doesn't really start a conversation unless someone adresses her, except with her friends. I know she doesn't have a BF, and she was interested in getting one at one point, but i don't know if shes ever had one. So anywayz, lately i've been trying to talk to her and get close to her, and we've had some pretty decent conversations about school and stuff. Shes even laughed at a few of my jokes in our small classes. However, she still would not talk to me or really look at me unless i talked to her first. Then, one day i noticed she was wearing two completely different shoes (one red, one green), which is a very odd thing to do for a shy, conservative person like her. So i decided to ask her about it just for an easy conversation topic. She answered "I swapped them", so i asked "Why just for fun or what?". Then she replied, "To see if people like you would notice, and you did." I don't know if that means anything, but it baffled me for several days.
