  1. Like the title says, my dad is sexist. He says things like, "Women don't know how to manage time" or "Women just can't handle stuff like that". I can't stand the fact that my mom just sits there and listens to him. We're the only two women at home since my sister moved out and I feel so alone. I try to avoid talking to him but we're forced to have family dinner on Sundays and he always says something sexist. We argue about it and I always get shut down. He brings up stuff like "Women are scientifically incapable of blah blah blah ". When did he become a scientist? How does he come up with this
  2. I think it's really mature of you to think that deeply about what you want out of a relationship. There's absolutely nothing wrong with you. Just try to find someone you can have an intelligent, but childish, conversation with.
  3. I'm 16, turning 17 and he just turned 14. Plus, he has this friend who's always dragging him into the dumbest situations. Whenever we're alone together, his friends always find a way to bud in. It's, in a word, frustrating.
  4. It means you're generic; a cliché. If she said it with a smile, she likes that about you. But if she said it with a little sarcasm, you might be in the friendzone.
  5. If there's anything I've learned about crushes it's that maturity helps with the anxiety. Treat them like regular people. Your crush was a person before they were your crush. As soon as you establish that in your mind, it should be easier to talk to them. Hope this helps.
  6. I really like this guy who's like 3 years younger than me. This is a big deal because I am really picky when it comes to guys but there's just something about him. I can never get him alone and I'm afraid he sees me as more of a big sister. Any advice?
