    Hi Seraphim - Hang in there. I hope that things are going well with you. I like the new play set you got the kids. My friend's son is turning... I don't know - 3 or 4 next weekend. I told her I'd drop something on her porch for him. I asked her what he is into these days (like Paw Patrol or whatever). She said "cheese." I'm like, "what - your son wants a cheese platter for his bday???" lol. I got him a cheese toy and a cheese book and I'll go to the store and get him some cheeses.

    I listen to music a lot when I'm working just to drown out other noises. I don't know if thats something that would be feasible for him. Depends on the employer I guess.

    I bet it's hard. He's an 18 year old and he's acting like a little kid. You seem like a really patient mom. But obviously, you're doing the right thing. He can't play cards all day. and it sucks being an adult. You don't get your favorite holiday off necessarily with your job. He is lucky he is in school. Plenty of people have to work all the major holidays (christmas, easter, new years) because they work in retail or the restaurant business and they don't get the major holidays off. I don't know if you can explain it to him like that. (or even doctors and nurses caretakers, etc.... have to work on holidays!)

    I think you said that he was struggling with some of his college classes. Is he still enrolled?

    awwww!!!! Also, it helps to bring in a photo of the hairstyle he wants so the barber can help him get to that look.

    lol, i saw guys in college doing that all the time. the first "nice" day (where it's above 0C), they're out in shorts.
