  1. Hope the bug is fixed with the solution I provided. Let's see. I tested the data, it looks good. Next week will be the real test in production. It's an application for about 5K retail stores in the Netherlands. So even if there is a teeny tiny bug someone from all these stores would notice. Good because you get feedback(or complaints to put it more accurately) immediately, bad because there is always something that is not right. To be honest, I shouldn't complain at all even if I don't like the project. I work on the latest technologies as I wanted, I have good colleagues, I work remotely, I make very good money, there is a chance I could move to the US (we will see how realistic this is), I could work from anywhere in Europe, I could move to the London office (I see they offer 105K pounds which is not bad at all), I mean, realistically it cannot get any better, I have so much freedom and flexibility which is crazy for a corporate job.
  2. Interesting interview. Pleasant guy! Could easily drink a beer with him. For 72 he looks pretty good, I thought he would be around 60 or thereabouts.
  3. It has been a very long day. I've been dealing with a coding bug 4 weeks now. 4 f*cking weeks. I could see my manager's face on the daily call, it was like saying wt*f are you doing all those weeks? This is the thing with coding, you could solve a bug in 20 minutes, you might need 2 months in other cases. It is causing me stress because it's an important task and debugging it is a painstaking and very time consuming process. Today I sat from 7am till now which is just right after 7pm trying to solve this sh*t. I believe I managed to find the solution, tomorrow I will have to test the data and hopefully everything would be ok. I didn't workout today, didn't go for a walk, didn't do anything else, all day was dedicated to this thing. The key when you are trying to solve a puzzle is to work without getting flustered or interrupted. If you start multitasking it ain't going to work. Which usually means you have to do it outside of the normal working hours since throughout the day you would have to join some calls etc etc. Fingers crossed the data would look ok tomorrow because I feel like pulverizing my computer.
  4. "He'd be in the trunk of his car by the end of the week, along with the psychiatrist". Legend hahahaha
  5. The mafia has more rules than the army. Where there is a lot of money and power involved there is no room for freedom. Big corporations, lobbies, mob....hm...potato, potahto
  6. The guy is pretty quick-witted for his age. I like that he has no inner conflict for representing the mafia. Why in the mafia there is always an Italian-American called Tony? Every Italian-American is named Tony lol
  7. A new shooting range opened in close proximity, 30 minutes drive from here. It's an outdoor one, I like the location, it's also next to a military base which is even better because people are more careful. I really liked it. It's an expensive hobby but I will join the local shooting club and spend a couple of hours every Saturday morning. It's not as fun as hip hop (not even close) but I really like it. It's worth spending a few hundred euros every month on this. I think now I am doing all the activities I like. My schedule is pretty full. I believe if I add anything else I will do everything half-*ssed and I don't want to do that. I don't like my project at work and it's making me stressed, however, this is what is paying the bills so....
  8. I hate going to the gym in the afternoon when it's packed. I have visited many gyms around the world and they all share a commonality. Smelly dudes that is. And old men wandering around naked in the changing room. There must be a sign when you enter a gym saying: 1. Take a motherf*cking shower before you come 2. We all have d*cks, no need to display it. Certainly not to other dudes...damn it doesn't even make any sense.
  9. This is the last one we use for the choreography. The beat is relatively slow but when you dance it properly it feels like a sprint. I agree with P.Diddy, I need a pretty woman by my side too. Hahahaha It's getting pretty busy at work lately with all those presentations and youtube videos and I am starting to feel overwhelmed. At least I spend a couple of hours in the evening either to work out or practice the choreography.
  10. The dude knows 😎 Ponytail...hmmm.. ponytails are sexy, especially two long ponytails...add a navel piercing, black stockings and some mirrors....hmmm....foolproof baby time hahaha Yes freakin genetics. And how they shuffle is truly amazing, they are born for this. I put 2 kg recently and I feel I am about to faint during the dance class. If you add a barbell it would be like doing crossfit. Hip hop is pretty intense cardio. Cardio is one thing, this I can handle, the other is to understand and "feel" the rhythm which either you have it or you don't. I don't. I s*ck big time hahahaha. But I like it 🙂
  11. I didn't know this song was from 1996. Damn, that decade had the best songs. The lyrics and beat are so cool! I would love to see a birth-rate chart of the US when this song was released hahahaha
  12. If parenting was what you really wanted yes sure. From what you have written, you tried a lot until you found your husband so I take it you didn't settle for anyone because you wanted a child. Am I wrong? I think from my post it came across that kids are the reason some of these people look like this. No, kids are awesome if this is what you want and if it's the right time for you. I started pondering about kids recently and I was never interested before. I don't know if it will ever happen for me but if it happens be sure I will have them because I would want it and I would be pretty happy with my decision. Regardless what the reason is, I meet many people frustrated with their lives. They look like me a few years back. I was certainly not in a good space and it was because my life didn't go as I wanted at all. I managed to fix this the past 3 or so years and I can tell you I am the happiest, most confident and most fulfilled I have ever been. And hopefully it's going to get even better. I know happy people and I can tell when someone is content with his/her life. I also know a lot of chronically unhappy people and usually it's because they settled for the wrong job, wrong partner, wrong location or something like this. There are many people who are unhappy in their marriage but when you have kids you can't take it back.
  13. When I walk by a park where parents bring the kids to play I feel so fortunate. Some women but mostly men look like...how can I put it...like depressed bored neutered beaten dogs. It's obvious they don't like their lives. Maybe they didn't want kids, maybe they don't like their wives, maybe they didn't do what they wanted in life...I really don't know but damn they look like they have quit life. Some of them are my age. I do have some spells of loneliness, this is true, however, between my life and theirs, I feel soooooooo blessed. On the other hand, I don't feel sorry for them whatsoever. Everyone makes his/her own choices in life. They made their bed like I did/doing. I believe the majority of people grow up bitter and resentful for the very simple reason they didn't live the life they wanted. The thing is, they didn't even try in the first place. They just went with the flow because it was convenient and this is how things are supposed to work. Good luck not growing resentful towards life. Life is a gift, only if you make it. I get it, it's not simple or easy living the life you want. It requires a lot of boldness and a sense of adventure. I don't think you should inherently be a very bold person or a very adventurous person. The only thing you have to do is follow you heart and your instincts and learn from your mistakes. Way easier said than done of course but it is what it is.
  14. Maybe the photo was taken in Greece lol The best part is after work I can go for a walk on the beach.
  15. This is the best office by far.
  16. I don't have any suggestions but I certainly doubt your parents mentally is going to work in your case since you are making this amount of money. If you filter out all the men who make less than 300K it would be slim pickings. If you feel he is the one probably it's worth risking it otherwise break up. This a tough one. Good luck with whatever choice you make 🙂
  17. I hate cold days, I just hate them. When I woke up I felt like was hit by a truck. Without any reason. One of those days I guess. Anyway, I emailed the necessary people and read the info they have about finding a position in the US. There are plenty of criteria of course and it's very time consuming. The first thing is that you need to be working at this company for at least 15 months so for me that's another 11 months. This means I can initiate the process in January 2025 which is the first step. Then I would need to be accepted to a position in the US and the client needs to really really love me and would like to keep me like crazy. And then the bureaucratic stuff if everything else is ok. It is not easy at all. So 1.5 years more or less from now. I have never stayed at a company for more than 1.5 years in my life. This time I would have to stay at this company for years. Well, the good thing is, there is no other company that pays more for the position I am right now in Greece so there are literally no better options unless I work as a contractor. Anyway, time will tell.
  18. I really like the hip-hop lessons. I wish I had tried that many years ago.
  19. I would certainly like Arizona more, my concern is the weather in March. How many days do you need approximately to see the Grand Canyon/Monument Valley/other cool things? Are 4 days ok? Do you need more? Did you take a tour or you went with your own car? Is it worth it to rent a car and do it by yourself? How many hours drive is it from Grand Canyon to the Monument valley? Is it far from Phoenix? I believe Miami is a must at least for one time. I am not the club type and I am not willing to pay 30 dollars for a beer but I am sure I would like the hot weather, the coast and the sea (because I love those things anywhere). Given that I have only 4-6 days to spend and Miami is a short flight from Atlanta, it must be a better choice this time. Arizona would require more time to do it the way I want. I would like to go camping, horse riding, rafting, take some cool landscape photos which is not easy because you need to know a place in order to take good photos...
  20. The two weeks in the US is not enough time to do a lot of stuff. I will spend one week with bro but then I want to visit other places too. My quandary is Miami or Grand Canyon(and Phoenix) for a few days? Bro also really wants to visit the Grand Canyon and I do too. But he would only have 2-3 days and I don't want to do things in a hurry. I want to have a horseback tour in the monument valley for example which I assume it's not that far from the Grand Canyon?? Another thing that bothers me with Grand Canyon is the weather at the end of March. On the internet it says it would be around 10 degrees Celsius which sucks big time. I don't like cold weather and I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I want. On the other hand, Miami is a typical summer party destination which I think it would nice but I am in the mood for adventures lately rather than partying. Both options would be expensive anyway so the budget is not a factor here. Anyone here who has been in both places to give some perspective?
  21. I am. I am well-versed with how strippers think and act, I am not that gullible (I might appear so but I am not). That does not mean that plenty of women who don't do this job are more "normal". The thing with strippers is that you expect certain behavior....I think on the dating apps you can find people from all walks of life, backgrounds and personalities that you wouldn't normally talk to. In person, even the 5 millisecond glance is enough to know if you would ever talk to this person. Behind a screen there is no such filtering and I am guessing this is the reason you can match with so many stupid weirdos. Thank God I don't have the white knight syndrome. Interesting that these girls have all those options with highly successful men but they still prefer the drug dealers. At the end of the day, like attracts like it seems regardless of what the logical part of the brain dictates.
  22. A gal on a dating app pinged me first, we texted back and forth for a couple of days, she also started sending voice messages first. All good until she says "I went on a date with a guy yesterday and we ended up in his home and hooked up". Of course then you understand there is no actual interest from her side, she just wanted attention. But Jeez, you don't say that to someone on a dating app where the purpose is to date. You can sleep with whoever you want but saying it in this case is just impudence. The next thing would have been "I s*cked a d*ck yesterday". As a friend told me this normally requires a d*ckpic, personally I think a good backhand slap would be more appropriate. How many stupid nutcases are out there. There is an abundance for sure. I am starting to believe the strippers must be the most normal ones.
  23. That must have been an adventure!!!
  24. It's a pleasure to meet/see naturally gifted people regardless of what their talent is. I guess because it's so rare to begin with. If she is going to use this gift to excel is another story. Me with no talents on the other hand, I always enjoy seeing talents in action haha.
