OK say if it's just overall life here with that lack of feeling. does that mean they don't know what to do in life or afraid anyway?

I feel like a dummy asking this but I want to be sure here. when they say someone has lack of feelings. Could that mean that person likes someone but doesn't know how to act or have the nerve to express to so and so?

OK I know between a b/f and g/f they kiss on the lips haha but girls what makes you feels special when your b/f stares into your eyes and kisses you on the forehead...cheek?

I was just curious on the matter. this girl i've known for a few years now and it's to the point I'm in love with her. my gut feeling is stronger than ever thinking she feels the same but just holding back for some reason. maybe she's the type that doesn't want to start something or express until she's able to be with me. I know she's shy and I don't know her whole dating/relationship history,but from others she was with someone few years ago and the ending wasn't that great,so maybe she's just scared....could those be other factors here? time and time before on AIM,I just went ahead and expressed how I feel about her and everything more than once here,yet she "scares" away from the topic,yet in her away messages and profile she'll post lyrics of love songs. where she'll post certain parts like it's meant for someone.

for the types out there that college/studies come first before dating and relationships. say you end up liking someone and actually fall in love with the person,but with your priorities on college right now (plus the whole long distance thing) would you hold back and act like you're not interested?

I know girls love to post quotes and songs especially about love and whatever else if its just for the heck of it or a purpose meant for someone..in their profile or away messages on AIM/AOL. I just wonder do guys do the same thing sometimes? like meant for a certain girl to see w/o actually coming out and saying something? that i'm pretty much in love with that one girl that's away at college. I haven't seen her for so long plus i'm backing off right now that she is dealing with college. a ton of homework everynight,which gets stressful for her..though i'm holding back/backing off..still I'm crazy about her and thought about doing something like that,which maybe she'll check my away message out and read it. say if it is a good idea,what are some good quotes and songs?? I don't have a clue lol

well why I brought this up..the girl that I like was on earlier and put in her away message " aka homewrecker well that I know she's not married lol or going after a married person..just wonder what it possibly could mean. for a good time now i've had that strong feeling she likes me alot back,but just holding back because of college and stress with that. could it be possible that she is in love with me and feels like she's ruining it by the holding back? well like i've said before the girl that I like(we're just friends,but hoping for more someday) is away at college and I haven't been doing the best of jobs giving her space(she hasn't come out and said she needs space but I should just assume it with everything going on),that she's going thru the pressures of college right now with heavy homework every night. well last night I didn't expect any response which she didn't. I sent her a message trying to ease it some for her... "I just wanted to say something . I'll admit, I haven't done the best of jobs here with giving you space by my IMs here and there..but sometimes I can't help it that I love talking to you. I understand that you're a really busy person so me bugging you is probably the last thing you need right now haha" do you think I did a sweet caring thing right there? I don't know what she's fully thinking over there but i'd hate that thought of her being unhappy about anything.

well the person that I like is away at college,which I haven't talked to much lately,anyway the other day she put in her away message" getting my life together" well I guess I should know what she means but I don't in away. when someone says that do you consider it thinking about the future career and possible dating/relationship wise? which I know it could be any amount of things..

I don't have my own car right now but thought about asking this girl out. well it's kinda embarrassing asking her out then say I can't drive us to where ever haha

on a date or dates that the girl has to drive them everyone that the guy doesn't have a car I always hear the right thing is for the guy to drive them everywhere,but in the case would it be a wrong thing or not?

I know it's different for some but say you get online and plan on being on for just a few minutes or you're on busy with homework say and friends or the person you like send you a message. would you still respond back even though you're busy and gonna get off any second or not say a word that theirs no point to having a short convo or whatever the case you think is?

with my situation I shouldn't be frustrated,but that I like the person so much I do,which is normal with any person. with her and i we're in that friends category,so I should expect probably everything what k8tie kool posted. The girl knows I like her and i've told her that i'll back off and not push it here knowing she's dealing with college right now. since she's been back in college she hardly hasn't been on except for times for only 5-10 mins. I mean it's not like I send her message every single time she gets on but it's been more than the 2 or 3 times she's actually responded back which I guess I should feel lucky she even did for those times. because when she did respond back,she was really busy with homework. Any how last 2 or 3 times now she hasn't said a word when I did send something,like couple nights ago I send a message saying stuff like i know she's busy and so on but just wanted to know how things are going this past week and now..just something where she'd only have to say one word then done..well no response the entire time she was on. right then I just got frustrated. I know she has a lot going on and i'm not expecting her to respond everyime but it's a tough feeling right now haha

I know some of you like I am right now are stuck with the internet only to communicate with your g/f or the girl that you like. doesn't it just frustrate you when you send instant messages and they don't give you a response back sometimes? I know it could be because they're busy but that you like her alot, it does get frustrating with me I have low self esteem when it comes to girls,so it's like one day she'll respond back and everything seems great where the next she could go 2 different times in a row w/o talking and it's like did I do something wrong or what

I know this is a silly question but just curious. say a certain guy asked you how you're doing,alot of times. would that get your nerves after awhile him asking the same thing over and over or would you consider that a good thing,showing that he cares to know?

I really like this girl,and my gut feeling she likes me back but just holding back because of college. sucky part I didn't really see her hardly at all during the summer when she was back home which was frustrating.where her and I pretty much did was talk on the computer. well now she's back in college and has been back for little over 2 weeks now. since i've sent her an instant message atleast 4 or 5 times and she's responded back to 2 of them which is cool under whats going on. whom ever else is going thru the same thing or has been thru whats the best way to deal with it? I should expect that she's not gonna talk to me everything I send a message that she's busy with college work but still have that down feeling to it,where you just feel hopeless.

first off I know when a guy/girl ends up avoiding you,the first thing you think is he/she isn't interested and why even try then. well are there always the chances where he/she is just afraid plus other reasons like going off to college like it is for some..where they end up avoiding you and talking is limited even though he/she really likes you?

well I found out some stuff. she just graduated from high school this year,so she's going off to college in a month. I found out it's about an hour away. I know hour doesn't seem that far but once she gets college work going and meeting new friends,it'll seem hours away. the way she's been acting me to me..I know nervousness could be part of it,but leaving could that be another? I can understand going out atleast once could be tough with knowing it could be months or longer until seeing each other again,though online is always there.

plus what are some other signs to look for to know that I shy person could be interested

another question..is it possible to be really outgoing and have several friends from the opposite sex yet be shy and nervous around a person that you like or know that likes you?
