Need Inspiring Stories/Something to Motivate Co-workers

Hello all,

Do you have any source of inspiration when you're frustrated at work? What do you usually do when you're in the dumps? I need some inspiring, powerful stories to enhance motivation at the workplace. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please hurry.

Threats of unemployment work quite well, LOL.

Seriously though, have you thought about a rewards scheme of some description. Turn the workload into a competition and every one will be working there a** off trying to get ahead.

well i sort of know what you are going through. about 5 weeks ago i started a job and it seemed really good because i would have people there which i new and also my twin sister was starting there at the same time too. anyway it turns out that the job wasnt as great as it seemed. the pay is low unless you get a bonus (commision), the response from customers is very disrespectable and the manager has these evil eyes which are so not encouraging. anywho the inspirational thing is that things do get better, i got better pay, the atmosphere isnt that bad and there are good customers, you just need to remember those when the shift is going bad.

when im down in the dumps i just have a small break and vent about the customers with my mates.

Maybe you should encourage the company to be invloved if possible in non- for profit activites for a good cause or have a charity sports game against another company for fun maybe that would do it. Just throwing an idea.
