Habibti Inti
I'm writing a book and I have just a couple of questions. What are baby hospitals actually called? What's the room called where all the babies are kept in the hospital? What are those clear boxes called that the "healthy" babies sleep in at the hospital? Are they also called incubators? avman
Baby hospitals are just called hospitals. The location where the babies are kept is called the nursery. The location where the mothers are kept is called the maternity ward. Incubators are for sick babies. The healthy babies are kept in clear plastic bassinets. Link to comment
sisterlynch
I don't know if this helps, but it looks like an interesting web sight... link removed Maybe more for after the baby is born, though..... Link to comment
