Ive always wanted to try online dating, but where do you go to meet people?

people tend to use chat rooms like yahoo etc. but the thing is like anyone online you dont neccessarily know who your talking to. it is a risk and you need to ensure you dont hand out any information like where you live, home numbers etc.

you can sign up for something called faceparty this allows you to chose the people you talk to and locations etc. obviously with chat rooms come age limitations, how old are you?

I think where you go looking depends on what you are looking for. There are tons of internet services available, but they seem to attract different types fo people. It is analogous to going to a bars and clubs: there are college abrs, and after work bars, and clubs that cater to diferent ethnic groups and races and different stratas of society. So it depends on who you are and what you want. Check out a few sites and browse the people on there, which one has the most people that you mgiht like to date. That's probably the best one to try.
