allstarsassyone
I'm a new parent and i've never seen people take their 5 month old babies out trick-or-treating. What I was planning to do was dress her up in a Halloween costume and paint her face. Should I take her out tonight? It's a bit cold out but still I haven't seen parents take an infant out on Halloween night for candy. I want people to see how I am proud of her and to see her Halloween costume. I feel like it's a young age. Should I still take her??? I've never lived in a city before and I am from a small town so it makes it a lot more exciting plus this is my first child and I am new at this first time holiday events with a dependant. It sounds like fun doesn't it???? Link to comment
Nifty_Swifty1
I've seen people take infents out all the time... but I'm from a small town of 3,000 and they were just going out to show off the costume to there friends (the whole town). I would do it if it were me. Link to comment
avman
Take her and take lots of pictures. I always took the kids out when they were young. Just bundle her up good and go to a few houses that you know. Then eat the candy yourself! Yum! Link to comment
upstatemedic
Definitely take her out - more for your own fun and amusement, and for the "awwww" that you'll undoubtedly get from every friend. But go only to houses of people you know, and be safe! Link to comment
