Relocating to Richmond

Hi,

Even during all that is going on in my personal life, I have been offered a position in Richmond, VA. I am currently living in MD. The move is about 2 hours south from where I am but gives me the ability to start fresh. My wife likes the idea, but can't give an gaurantees as to what is going to happen.

Is anyone from that area? Since I will have to abid by the relocation package, I am not sure what my housing choices are, but any advice is welcome.

Richmond is an hour south of me. My first thought when I saw your post was, do you really want to move to Virginia? We both live in Maryland, we both know how bad the drivers can be.

Having said that, I think it may be a good idea to move there. Not only a fresh start for you, but also for your relationship. Maybe it will help things out in the long run.

As far as housing and all that, I don't have much information. However, for your relationship and for yourself, I think this is a good move. We'll miss you in Maryland.
