i need help on getting my ex back!

Heres how it all started. It was the first day of college and we were waiting to go into our first class and while waiting in the hall, i saw this beautiful girl that i told myself i was gonna get to know better. So started talking to this girl and we eventually became good friends. The difference was, my intention was to be more than friends with her, and i dont know what she expected. But as winter break came around, i started going to her house and hanging out with her. She also came down to my house a few times too. But we didnt really do anything, i mean, we hung out like we would if she were one of my guy friends because i was afraid of ruining something good if i pushed too hard. Anyway, a week before break was over, she came down again, by this time, we were really close friends. So we were hanging out in my room and she was really tired so she laid down on my bed. I started to tickle her and stuff, just playing around. We both ended up on the bed and just resting. I started to caressign her arms and massaging her back and stuff and we ended up kissing for a while on my bed. At this point i was excited as all hell. We ended up being together but then school started up again. a week after school started, her stress level was raised again because of work and school and she told me that she was really stressed out and she feels really bad that she cant hang out with me like we used to during break. So she told me she just wanted to be friends for a while. This killed me when i heard it but i acted cool like it didnt effect me that much. Now, we are back to where we were just as friends, hanging out like we used to, but i still act like i did still trying to go after her. i want her back so bad. She still comes up to my dorm and hangs out, but it just seems different because i want to get back with her but i dont want to come on so fast because i dont know if she wants to get back or not. I really need help please!!!

I've been in these types of situations before and I would say that the best thing to do is not come off so available. Right now she knows you want her and you wanna see her all the time. She also has all the power right now as she is the one who is'nt available, see where I'm goin with this. Right now your putty in her hands, and the truth of the matter is, if she really wanted to see you, let alone be with you she would. I dont care how busy she is. Here is what to do. Next time she calls you up to make plans, politely refuse. I know that sounds like id be tough, but trust me it will work. You need to make yourself the one thats hard to get a hold of. Also, meet some girls. Hell, you don't have to marry them, just hang out. And try to make it known your spendin time with these girls. Heres an example, she calls you up to hang out. Simply say, thanks but I have plans with drop name there. Also, don't label this girl as anything just mention her name. Let her guess what your relationship is with her. If this does'nt work, then she prolly didnt have much interest to begin with. Damn I should be getting paid for this type of advice.

Anyways, down to an answer: snyper, unfortunately you cannot force anyone into anything. If this girl says no, all you can do is to TRY to stick around as long as you can. Keep telling her how special she is and what she means to you. Don't overdo that, but dose that a little bit over time. Do understand, though, that this can go two ways: either she will let get back with you in time or she will let you go.

Keep this in mind, though: you can only do so much. If you get tired of things or you loose patience, be careful not taking that out on her. My suggestion is that you might want to go your separate ways, then.
