hooked and cant let go...NEED HELP

well i met a guy....a wonderful guy. he was perfect in every way. we were compatible and we got very close very quick. after dating for a short while, he confessed to me that he was still not over his ex girlfriend. of course i felt that i had no choice but to break things off. i keep wanting him back, and the feeling is not mutual because he is hung up on her. i am crazy over this guy and feel that we were meant to be. i need help getting over him, because this heartbreak is hurting me too much.

I'm no expert, but I'd say you have two choices: 1) find someone else to displace this guy from your heart, or 2) be patient and see if he gets over his ex.

Jeffery is correct in ways but one thing this guy of yours might really need more than anything at the moment is a good friend. If that is something you can provide him, when/if the relationship grows beyond that point it will be even that much stronger.
