Mark
My wife loves to use lots of cooking wine whenever she cooks meat (beef, pork, chicken, fish, shrimp, etc.), and she is using just as much cooking wine now as before the baby was born. (Our daughter is now two weeks old, and my wife is breastfeeding her.) I know that it's certainly not okay to drink alcoholic beverages while breast feeding, but I haven't found any information about the use of cooking wine while breastfeeding. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment
kamurj
When you cook with an alcholic beverages only the flavor remains, the actual alcohol is usually "cooked out." This is why minors can be served food cooked with alcohol in restaurants even though they cannot be served the alcohol itself. Link to comment
