I think i like my sisters x boyfriend

My sister dated a boy for about 2 weeks(broke up because of mutual agreement) this was a year ago and me and my sister know each others friends because we are close in age I've closely started liking him and he had told me he likes me but I never agreed due to it being my sisters ex also I didn't meet him because they were dating but also before that FYI but I dont know what to do and they still talk they are friends/enemies and she know he likes me but never said if she was cool with it

Why don't you simply ask your sister how she feels? I mean, dating a guy for 2 weeks over a year ago .... one can hardly call that dating (imo).

Your sister might not even mind if you dated him. You could talk to her about it and see what she thinks.

If it's going to be awkward for you, your sister or your family relationships, there's plenty of other boys to date.

Don't be pressured. Why worry about him? Do whatever is right for you. Make sure he's not playing games.

They just dated for two weeks and it's been a long time ago. I'm pretty sure it won't be a big deal. Of course it could be a bit awkward, but why shouldn't it work out nevertheless?

They only hung out for two weeks...that's hardly even dating. obviously she didn't have enough interest in him to keep dating. I doubt she will have a problem with it. Just say, "Jason asked me out, I hope it won't bother you if I go out with him...I do like him."

I'm not sure why everyone feels this is such a bad situation. I've had close friends date my exes, and or guys I have dated for a short time, and I could care less. Had my bff  boink an old flame too...no big whoopadoodle. They are adults they can do whatever they want. I don't believe in this "bro code" stuff.
