Wearing a mask with your nose hanging out is almost as bad as no mask at all. Given how all of you have had covid, rules really should be adhered to. If I was you I'd get married at city hall with just parents as witnesses and save the reception for a year or two from now when hopefully things are better.
I agree! Have a small service and then have a blow out reception in 2022.

I still do not understand what is wrong with people! How a pandemic has become political is deadly and disgraceful. The people that whine about this most, are the ones prolonging the disease by refusing to mask and act responsibly! Really selfish! I am ashamed of my people! End of rant!

Wear a mask and socially distance, so that we can return to normalcy like other countries!

Holly J I live about 5 miles for a small town in Ontario where there is a cult with a leader who has got the people all riled up to not wear masks. They have been having what they call Freedom Rallies and marching around town with signs! No masks of course. Give it a week or so and the town will be over run with covid cases. Until people start following medical and scientific advice on how to deal with covid, it's never going away.

"Freedom rallies!" Terrific! Where is our right to stay safe and healthy?! It is so ridiculous that people have made such a big deal over a little mask! You would think that we were asking people to stick needles in their eyes.

Hopefully winter comes soon enough and keeps these people indoors.

The only thing you can really do is if you see someone not wearing a mask the way you would like them to, or heaven forbid no mask at all, then you get right in their face and scream as loudly as you can
    "WEAR A MASK!!"
And if someone has the audacity to walk past you in the supermarket, then similarly scream at them:
    "SIX FEET DISTANCE!!"

People always respond positively to behavior like this. If everyone would behave this way towards the handful of people not complying, they will comply instantly and this virus will be gone in a couple weeks, tops. So simple.

I wish. Unfortunately, you never know if people will respond in a violent manner. There is always one on the subway who doesn't mask, so I get up and move. i also wish the stores would follow through on the masking of customers and staff.

I wish I was living in Eastern Asia, New Zealand or Australia. They are doing it right.

I've never seen anyone respond violently. They have always been happy for the reminder, and eager to comply.

    That's good.

I have silently moved away from people, and they have commented. You never know. You also see these fools on TV who are declaring their rights, and they seem quite passionate. I am just doing my best to stay healthy so that I do not infect anyone else.

Oh. Well if you're simply hoping to not catch or spread a virus, then that's different. In that case, moving away from the person and continuing on with your own business seems like the preferable action.
