Nine days late negative pregnancy test

I am nine days late of my period, I took two pregnancy tests, and both were negative? Is this too early to take a pregnancy test? I used first response.

I wasn't sure if nine days late is too early before going to the doctor about it. I get it's normal to sometimes be late. I just wasn't sure.

We cannot diagnose medical issues. Best to see a doctor who would be able to tell you 100% if you're pregnant, or not.

There's too many factors to guess at for anyone to know but a doctor.

Oh God no of course nine days late isnít too early. Iíve had a positive test as early as five days before I would have even got my period.

Again, Suzuki, it's difficult to say because every woman's body is different.

There are false positives and false negatives.

A false positive is pretty rare; false negative far more common.

It may be too early for a blood test at the doctor to tell so you're correct about that. See your doctor if you have further questions or when to make a second appointment.

You can call ahead or book online for a lot of clinics now for an over-the-phone doctor appointment to ask preliminary questions if you don't feel it's worth the trip this early, keeping in mind covid or health related issues. He/she (the doctor) will advise you best when to come in and take a blood test.
