    Ongoing nausea and dizziness

Does anyone or has anyone had this issue?

I've been experiencing nausea and dizziness for the past couple of weeks and I cannot get in to see my doctor anytime soon.

I thought it might be related to my thyroid (hyperthyroidism) but I spoke to my endo over the telephone and she doesn't seem to think so. Maybe it's just PMS.

Doesn't sound like PMS. Have yo spoken to your GP? It may be related to your ears or vertigo..

I don't think we are qualified to answer your question.

Doesn’t sound like PMS at all.

Go to a walk in clinic. Be sure to call ahead and ask if a doctor is present and available to see you. Sometimes they only have a physician assistant or nursing staff available, so do check before you go and call around until you find a walk in clinic that does. Also, with the virus situation, go first thing in the morning when they are just opening up. Chances are good that they won't be busy and you won't have to wait to be seen.

Nobody here is an MD or can diagnose what's going on with you even if they were. One thing for sure, extended nausea and dizziness are not normal. Don't wait around until things get worse.

Do you have allergies? I get that way when my allergies act up. Try taking a Claratin or benadryl.

These are pretty ubiquitous nonspecific symptoms. Could be anything. Get it checked out. Depending on age and overall health could be anything from cardiac disturbances to pregnancy.

If you think it's vertigo, google the Epley Manoeuver. I've used it many times and it does resolve it. But you want to be sure it's vertigo first.

In the meantime check and see if your doctor is offering telemedicine. Two weeks is a long time and just because there is a pandemic doesn't mean you can't get medical attention.

Make a virtual appt and get a blood test to rule anything out. And yes, I've experienced dizziness and nausea. Everyone is different. Some people can take care of themselves with lifestyle changes whereas others need medical intervention. I hope you'll feel better.

I thought too it could be vertigo.

It's just such a common symptom my immediate thought went to PMS.

Thanks for the warm wishes, hope everyone is staying well!
