    I just want to thank everyone for all the advice. I did break up with him. He was always the same and he has a problem and is going to get professional help (I'm hoping) as for now I'm coping the best I can and just thank you guys again. Getting Ready for a First Date

    Yes thank you, I don't want to sound needy or anything on here, I don't know. Everything that's happened and what I found out in the end is very traumatizing. I'm still numb and shocked and I'm scared of feeling all the hurt that this is going to cause me. I have bipolar 2 and my parents have bipolar 1 as well. I'm scared that all this will trigger an episode, or an episode that is really severe, like when I see my parents. Can any of you just pray for me or any advice you have. I feel like I have no one to talk to about this and all the unspeakable things he did

    Do you see a therapist or any kind and have a medication regimen?

    You can find an online support group for bipolar. I'm sure there are lots of people there who would love to have someone like you to chat with. They will understand you and you will understand them.

    I will pray for you definitely. However , make sure you keep up with your therapy and medications. ( my dad has bipolar 1)

    Hopefully you are going to your doctor regularly for treatment and a therapist regularly for ongoing support.
