Some people aren't with it enough to give clear answers. It's a personality trait or it's done on purpose. Let it go. There are all kinds out there and it's school of hard knocks. You'll learn all the warning signs eventually. The pain doesn't lessen after any break up but you'll smell it miles away and you'll get to know all the red flagged personality types and character traits. Keep your chin up. There's a lot more to life. In the end, when you look back you'll be thanking your lucky stars it's over with that one and good riddance.

It takes time to get over a breakup, there is no set timeframe. People heal at their own pace. Over time friends and family don't want to hear about it anymore so it can leave a person feeling like they are dealing with the emotions all alone. This forum is great as there is so much good advice and people giving comfort. Also you can read about the experiences of others who are also trying to deal with a breakup. It feels less lonely.
