Seraphim
I have never slept so good in my life except when I was on anti-seizure meds. One of the side effects of one of my blood pressure meds is feeling tired. I am a write off by 8:30. However, true I wake up at 5:30 AM. Most nights I am unconscious by close to 930. And I sleep rock solid till 530. I have never been like that in my life. Link to comment
Andrina
Lucky for you. I've been on them for about 17 years and they've never had that effect on me. Each person is different how meds affect them. Link to comment

smackie9
Tired? no. They messed up my vision. If I were you I would discuss this with your doctor. Maybe you need your dosage adjusted. Link to comment
Realitynut
I think that's a GOOD thing. 8 hrs of good solid sleep! Isn't that what everyone strives for? Link to comment
Billie28
If you don’t like the time they make you sleepy then take them at a time you want to feel sleepy? There are numerous drugs that have differing affects on people. If they say it induces drowsiness then don’t take them until bedtime. If they say they induce alertness then take in the morning. Was there a question?? Or just stating facts? Link to comment

He wants my dosage pretty high because my blood pressure was very high and I am now also a diabetic. He said I need to keep a blood pressure around 110/70. Which was my old blood pressure before my breakdown. Link to comment

I am not raising kids. They are my business. My child is an adult. And before blood pressure pills I was still awake until 1 to 2 AM even getting up at 5:30. Link to comment
