Sexless relationship

Hi, I really need some advice. I've been seeing this girl for just over a year now. The nicest girl I've ever met, but we never clicked in the bedroom. For whatever reason I just could never climax when I was with her. It would frustrate me any time we would ever get intimate. So today I ended the relationship. But now I cant stop thinking I've made a huge mistake. She is the nicest kindest perfect girlfriend in every way except when it comes to getting intimate. Am I shallow and stupid for ending it with someone so great? I dont know what to do, I want to talk to her but I dont want to hurt her by being half in and half out of the relationship

Get to a doctor for a checkup. Is this the norm for you? Do you climax with masturbating/porn? Other gfs? Do you drink, do drugs or smoke? Go to a doctor and therapist first because this is your problem, not hers, so don't dump it on her.

For whatever reason I just could never climax when I was with her.

I think you are right to end it if it isn't working. Someone can be perfectly nice and lovely, that doesn't mean you need to be in a romantic relationship with them.

Look at it this way... the lesson learned here could be that clearly you are capable of attracting and finding someone that treats you well (and vice versa) and that is a good person. Now you just need to find someone with the same traits that you also have chemistry with.

The difference between platonic friends and a romantic relationship is sex/sexual attraction/sexual passion. It's that simple.

Think of relationships like a tripod. You have to connect on an intellectual, emotional, sexual level. If either of these three are missing, your relationship won't stand. So since a huge part of what makes a relationship a relationship isn't there for you, walking away is the correct thing to do. Quite frankly, you should have done it sooner.
