    Do you consider the silent treatment as a form of a control tactic?

    If the silent treatment is used anytime your SO is upset with you or disagrees with you, do you consider that a form of a control tactic? Or says things like, "if you piss me off, I will ignore you."

    How did you deal with it? Did you reach out to them or let them play this game all by themselves until they come crawling back?

    Been together for 7 years, this silent treatment started about a year and a half ago.
