How do you greet/acknowledge a girl in high-school in the hallway?

There is a girl im interested in, who has shown interest in me to. We sat together for an entire semester and talk on snapchat sometimes. When I see her in the hall from a distance i really dont know what to do.

I feel like a nod isnt something that is normally done to a girl of interest, keep in mind im talking about senior year of highschool

When we make eye contact I just smile but I feel like i should be doing more to greet her when we are outside talking range.

Wave, say hi. Ask her how her weekend went. Ask if she's ready for that history exam. Tell her you like her earrings/glasses/color of her dress/whatever. good luck!!!

Say hi! That's a good place to start. Ask how she is, what she did on the weekend or last night. Keep it simple, let the conversation develop from a few general questions or comments. Always smile.

Be approachable. smile, be friendly, say hi first. etc. Make some in-person small talk about school, class, activities, etc. You need to ask her to do something after school or on the weekend.
