I sent a text to my best man and the other friend planning it, basically saying do not bother. I don’t want any stress for travel and time off. Both guys were understanding. My fiancée was a little perturbed but in the end said it is my choice. She just doesn’t understand it.

I told my best man that we should all go out fishing the morning of the rehearsal dinner since we will all be together then!

Sounds awesome. I'd take fishing on a boat any day. Might be tempting to forget the rehearsal altogether (just kidding). Good for you for speaking up and not spending that extra $ unnecessarily or stressing out when it's not your thing anyway.

If she doesn't get it....she doesn't get you...and the question is, will she ever? This is not a good thing my friend. I see more arguments in your future....sorry to poop on your parade but are you sure you two are right for each other? Just my 2 cents.
