London lady
Please help me my husband of 23 years walked out this weekend. He had affairs and was watching porn and meeting up with women on line ! Well written down that’s not a glowing reference is it. I kept going with our marriage as i was so frightened of being alone in my old age. I am so distressed feeling sick cant sleep crying all the time how do i get though the next couple of days without damaging myself ? Link to comment
Wiseman2
Get a wolverine divorce lawyer asap. Then get a therapist to guide you through the emotion end. Link to comment
JA0371
Old age? How old are we talking? Sorry you’re going through this..it sucks.stay here and post. No one is worth hurting yourself over...believe me, and based on your post it sounds like he did you a favor. Definitely get in touch with a lawyer and see where to go from there.. Link to comment
SherrySher
If it's really bad, please ring the Samaritans or contact your local hospital for help with emotional distress. Please get your emotions settled down before you do anything else. This has got to be very upsetting for you and it sounds like you need help and support asap from people who are in the same city as you. Link to comment
RayofLighten
Seek support from friends and family. If you cant do that then find a therapist to help support and guide you through this. Even here we can help and support you. It's a big shock for you but in the long run you'll come to realize that he was not worth any of your tears and that you are well shot of him. Link to comment
Betterwithout
I am deeply sorry to hear this London Lady. It really sucks to have someone walk out (I am an "infidelity survivor" going on 10 years now, so I know where you are coming from.) It really does take a huge chunk out of your heart, but it gets better, I promise. A jerk left you, so in the long run, there is now a space in your heart to meet a great guy. There are a lot of resources out there, so please explore them all, and make safe decisions. Link to comment
