Don't undrstand the situation

Recently the guy I like started ignoring me (we are both high school students).

Since it is?/ was? mutual but none of us dared to make a move (we have never spoken to each other), might he have lost interest or even started disliking me?

It's difficult to tell. Sometimes when a boy likes you, it may look like he's ignoring you to hide his feelings about you. You're just going to have to talk to him, or text him, or ask a friend to talk to him for you.

If you have never spoken, what do you mean by "ignoring you"? If you have a crush on him smile and make some small talk rather than just staring at him.

By "ignoring" I mean that he was all embarrassed and nervous around me (would turn red, stutter and tremble by trying to get close), but now not only avoids my gaze but also me (seems kinda mad? hard to talk to, as if he suddenly cast aside all his emotions).

My guess is he's just plain nervous and shy and afraid to talk to you, that's typical of teen boys. Make the first move and say hi to him.
