    We'll have to agree to disagree.

    It's setting a precedent. The next time a gift-giving event comes up, SherrySher will be expected to ask the mother, or the sister will pitch a fit.

    Sher, do whatever you think is best. Just know that I completely get the difficulty this puts you in.

    Thank you to you both. But yes, this is why my mind has been in a muddle with how to deal with this person.

    I swear to god, it won't matter what I do...I'll still be in the wrong. But thanks for the advice and understanding, it really has helped.
