TyaPhillips
I was at work and when I jumped in the pool it felt like something sharp went into the padding of my foot near the toes right in the middle. I tried to pull it out and it broke. It was so small but I heard it break. It's been 3 days now and I still feel pain in my foot when I walk. It hurts to touch it too. What can I do to get it out? Or see if it's still in my foot. Link to comment
RedDress
Yeah, I really think a doctor is the right answer here. I’m sure whatever it was that ended up in your foot was not sterile... A doctor should probably take a look at that. Link to comment
DanZee
Don't you have someone who can look at your foot and pull it out with tweezers? A boyfriend? A girlfriend? Your mom? Link to comment
sara-pezzini
You could try soaking the foot in washing soda if you have it, and then tomorrow go to the doctor, otherwise it can get infected Link to comment
MissCanuck
You're likely going to need medical attention to get it out, OP. You probably won't be able to do it yourself if it's embedded. And please do seek attention soon, as it could easily get infected. Link to comment
Wiseman2
Are you a lifeguard? Let your mother look at it and take you to a doctor. was at work and when I jumped in the pool. I still feel pain in my foot when I walk. Link to comment
melancholy123
A doctor seems like the wisest idea. Link to comment
j.man
Don't worry. Early humans used to live with all kinds of **** lodged into their feet and they lived to the ripe old age of 28. Kidding, kinda. Keep the puncture sterile and go see a doctor. Link to comment
annie24
Yeah, time to go to the doctor and have them take out whatever is left and get antibiotics if necessary. Link to comment
Lester
My son had this happen to him. Unbeknownst to him, while he was trying home remedies and delaying, the glass, which stays sharp and doesn't break down, kept moving inward. He ended up getting out-patent surgery from a specialist. My advice to you: Stop walking on it and get to a Doctor today. Link to comment
