working abroad

i'm a bit curious. I work in a very specific field in the US, and i'm very curious about how to go about looking for jobs abroad. I look at job postings based on my career once in a while, but what's on the boards are not really what i want.

Any job seeking tips, that i can use to better match with my credentials?

What about a reverse search looking at the countries you are interested in and then seeing what they offer in your field. Are you in any professional organisations?

It depends what kind of jobs you're looking for. Everyone is looking for programming and IT experts. A lot of countries are looking for doctors and medical professionals. There are some international private schools looking for people who can teach English. It depends on what you're looking for.
