How to show him I like him without putting him off?

I have no experience whatsoever with men...

Theres this guy whose really sweet and who i feel really good around.

he's bisexual and once slept with this guy he didn't even really like and just said "beggers can't be choosers" and he thinks he's unattractive...

i've been really quiet and i haven't told him that i think he's attractive and i regret not speaking or opening up more. I've been really guarded because of my own insecurities.

I just don't know what to do? I also really want to give him a hug.

I've been kinda hard to get and quiet and aloof and guarded (without realising) but i just want to hang out! & now that I've been thinking about him a lot it's even harder for me to act natural :(

If he likes you back then nothing you will do will put him off. Just be yourself - your true self - that way you'll know if he really likes you back for who you are.

Ask him out for coffee, lunch or a drink. And then you can have a talk with him and see if you want to get to know him further.

How do you know him? Is he a fellow student/coworker? You seem to know a lot about his sexual life. It sounds like you want to be friends. Can you be comfortable in an open relationship?

In conversation, smile and be attentive.

In conversation, very briefly glance down at his lips a couple of times.

Where appropriate, make brief physical contact (e.g. playfully patting his arm if he makes a funny joke!)
