Christmas is coming up and honestly I can't afford to buy presents for everyone. I have this beautiful watch, brand new and still packaged, that I bought for my brother's birthday a couple months ago but he said he didn't want it. I was wondering if I could give it to my boyfriend? It's an expensive watch, and we have only been dating for a month. I understand that it's really weird to give an expensive gift so early in a relationship, especially since we don't even say 'I love you' yet lol.

A month is nothing in the dating world, so I'd say no. A watch is just too personal to give someone you barely know. Hold on to it and you can give it to him next year, if you two are still together.

Buy something he would really enjoy....a video game would make him very happy.

1 month is way way too early to be giving watches as gifts. I would never accept and also would feel very awkward.

why didn't you return it. Another vote for no. I also vote for maybe no gifts and just going to a nice dinner since you guys just met.

I would try returning it. If you can't get a refund, get a store credit. Then you could use that money to buy a some less expensive gifts for people on your list.
