Headed back to work here in a couple hours. Get off in 28, so in 30 I'll be at the bank filling out a loan application for the house. I'm nervous as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs. My credit is good, good relationship with the bank, got the down payment, termite and roof inspection complete, place has a clean deed. Here we go.

You'll be fine! Good luck with everything. It's just paperwork and bureaucracy, but you'll make it.

Ended up talking with the bank, they didn't seem real interested in making a home loan for a house in Ky, so I went online after I saw a commercial for quicken loans, contacted them, and within an hour was approved for the loan. Looking at a closing date around Oct 13. I'm excited yet nervous all at once. There's just so much I want to do to the house. Have the hardwood floors redone, take the old lumber that was used in my house in Al have it planed down and stained to match the flooring to replace the old paneling with, update the kitchen. This is my first home I've ever bought. Then Jlynn will be moving up Feb/March. I'm just super excited
