2nd love feels different, normal?

Two years ago I left the 1st guy I ever loved, we were just too different and I know the relationship would be a nightmare if we stayed together. I have dated 3 guys in between, though none of them was a real relationship in my eyes. 2 of them never cared about me and the 3rd was a complete control freak. I have been dating my bf for a short while and since the break 2 years ago, he is the 1st guy I see something long term w/. Everything feel right w/him, but the feelings are different, idk how, I really love him and care for him, but I guess I'm not as naiive and "happily ever after" like I was w/my ex. Is this normal?

Yeah all 3 of the people I fell in love with, I loved them in different ways. The second love isn't meant to be as idealistic and naive. You mature a lot and take things more in its stride.
