Cut deep and my scars keep turning purple and staying?

So basically about a month ago, I cut deep. Hospital for a week etc. This isn't the first time I cut deep but the purple scar thing happened ever since I started cutting. It worries me and I know it can also be because I'm cold but I live in new Orleans its rarely cold and they keep turning purple deeper. I felt on the scar and felt a flow, and it swells up my arm weird. Idk if it is from the depth or infection. Help!

I agree, see a doctor and then ask to be referred to see a therapist. You need professional counselling/therapy to sort out these issues.
