Need help moving on

Hi guys I have posted my problems throughout my relationship here before. Now finally I am broken up with my ex girlfriend as I cam home and found her outside with the same original guy that she cheated on me with before and assaulted me. We argued and broke each other's phone and were charged with criminal mischief and harassment in the 2nd degree. We were also given order of protections against each other and so she moved out and stole some of my stuff when she came with her police escort. We still need to go to court and deal with each other but I'm looking for how can I finish with this her and not have to deal with her or the heartache anymore. I know she's very vindictive as if I did something or caused this so I don't want to even risk the order of protection to talk to her and hash out the charges we have against each other. Guys how do I let go and move on, we were together for 5 years and living together for 1 year. Any advice is appreciated.

i guess the way to move on is to ask yourself how bad do you want things to get? this seems like its bad enough at the moment and you really need to make yourself and your future priority before anytthing worse happens, as wiseman said above, you dont want a criminal record and it can happen so easily.
