The weirdest thing has helped me! I was searching forums for answers in my endless urethra paint/chronic cystitis and I came across someone who said wiping their urethra and vagina with tea tree oil on a wet wipe every time they peed helped, and eventually the pain was gone (This is because tea tree oil is antiseptic, antibiotic, antifungal etc).

So I bought them this morning and started to do this...and my god...THE PAIN WENT. It felt soothing and the more I've done it the better I have felt!!!!

I spent the day doing a lot and then went out of town for an event (things I haven't been able to do because of the pain).

I'm going to continue this and not drinking much alcohol/coffee, largely water, and let you know how that goes.

But this USA wonderful feeling. Not being in pain for the first time in almost two months.

    Such a simple thing!!!

Argh. After helping for a few days the tea tree oil has stopped working for me.

Back to constant pain and not knowing what the hells going on.

Going to try and get urologist appointment (had to wait to be referred) and maybe get some antibiotic cream.

I don't know why it stopped working. It's very strange. Used to feel soothing, now it sort of burns. I spose maybe I over did it, but nothing else was working

You didn't take your probiotic too close to your antibiotic did you? That will cancel out the affect of the antibiotic . Take it about 4 hours after the antibiotic .

You need to make an appointment to the urologist and nephrologist asap. If you continue to ignore it, by using different home remedies you will be faced with serious complications...like kidney infection ect...

Had a scan. They say my bladder and kidneys are fine but I have a fibrod or something on my womb most likely. Seeing urologist in a couple days too

Many many women get fibroids. I have thousands of them. They can cause issues with sex and having children and having your period.

For fibroids you would need to see your gynaecologist.

Yeah I know.....this urologist is costing me 200 too so not sure whether to cancel or not. I asked the ultrasound guy and he said probably best to still go.

It was your idea to see this specialist based on the assumption and self-diagnosis that it was urological. You needed a gyn from the beginning. An ultrasound tech is not a doctor, a gynecologist is. If you still need a urologist, you'll get a referral.
