lovergirl101
Any ideas on losing weight fast but in a healthy way? I need to lose at least 40 lbs by February. Any suggestions? Link to comment
WithLove
Any weight loss plan you follow that allows you to lose weight fast will not stick. Slow and steady wins the race. Find a diet that's healthy and relatively easy for you to follow and start with that. Weight loss is 80% diet. Link to comment

Wiseman2
What happens in Feb? it depends how old you are how active you are and what you weigh now vs ideal body weight. Try one of the many commercial or hospital sponsored weight-loss support groups or programs.I need to lose at least 40 lbs by February. Any suggestions? Link to comment

moodindigo91
Cut out unnecessary sugars like lattes, soda, desserts, etc. Eat a varied diet and EXERCISE. You can take weight loss supplements to aid in the fat burning process, but they won't work as well if you're not working to burn off fat (via exercise). Link to comment
Edmund Exley
40lbs is doable, but very risky and not quite healthy. You need to be disciplined with calorie intake and macros, counting every bit of food that enters your mouth. You will need to calculate your TDEE calorie weight and determine what a healthy caloric deficit will be for you. You need a strength training regiment that has you lifting weights 4 times per week And you need to do HIIT cardio 3 times per week. Its a lot of work that takes 100% dedication. There are a lot of good resources in this site that can help you with the nutrition calculations. Link to comment
Edmund Exley
Also, I would lose the date deadline and just focus on making healthy living part of your lifestyle. Deadlines often lead to disappointment. If you just do the right things and stay strict, the weight will take care of itself. Link to comment
Wolfshook
You can,at risk of being grumpy, having headaches all day, possible long term health issues and gaining double back after that date. Wiseman2
Check with local hospitals for free support groups and info on nutrition, exercise etc. Also several commercial programs got very high rating by U.S. News & World Report for being both healthy and sustainable.
