Nashville for New Years

Ooooh, lucky. I love Nashville!

Of course you have to go to the Johnny Cash Museum and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Natch. Oh and RCA Studio B for any seriuos museum/history buffs. The Grand Ole Opry.

Now, if like me you are a complete old cemetery buff then look up Hillbilly Heaven tours. Actually Nashville has a tour for just about everything, but that one led us around to all the cemeteries where famous folk were buried. I know, I'm weird, but if you like that kind of thing have at it. Ghost tours are fun to do as well, plus you get more history that's a bit off the beaten path.

The flea market is great also as in Printer Alley. Look those up.

The fact is Nashville is so full of great things to do and places to see that you will not get through it all while you're there. Take some time to go to their website, look things up, decide ahead of time what you want to do most and then plan accordingly before you go. It will be a total adventure.

And this article contains a couple of places I've been to and a few more that I'll have to check out the next time I'm there.

Have fun!
