Ladies,

Would you date a guy who didn't use Facebook at all?

I am. And I don't have one either.

I didn't have Facebook for a long time, and now that I have it I'm really thinking of deleting it. So yes, I would.

Hells to the yeah I would! Would probably be a lot simpler dating someone who didn't use it. That way you won't be analyzing everything every thing on it and wondering why he's friends with this girl. I have a facebook but too many people get obsessed with it and post ALL the time.

Sir, I would date him just specifically and solely based on him NOT having a Facebook page! Oh wait, actually I married the guy and consider it a huge bonus that he doesn't care about social media at all.

Yep. I am currently dating someone who is on FB but rarely uses it, and we're not even friends on there. I couldn't care less. Actually, I think it makes people MORE interesting if they're not on it!

Yep.....although the guy I'm with is on it, he is not a huge user. Mostly for work, because he works in the media.

I actually would be really surprised if it was a problem AFTER the initial getting to know each other phase. It's just become so ubiquitous now that it seems like it's "strange" not to use it, especially for people under 40. I wondered I guess if it's interesting strange or off putting strange.

My ex made a comment something like being glad I didn't use Facebook. In retrospect I think she was ashamed of me and afraid of what her "friends" would think of her, so she was glad because I couldn't "reflect poorly on her" if no one saw us together.

You would be surprised but I heard last time on telly that the average FB user is 41. Expected younger as well.

The only reason I use FB, etc is to promote my writing. I wouldn't bother otherwise. I don't post loads of selfies and never show pictures of family.
