1st Mother's Day without her

I woke up this morning not knowing what to do.

So I wrote her this poem.

To my brothers and I you have gone away.

In our hearts and mind you will stay.

I wish I was the person you said I was.

It doesn't matter though to you I was.

Of the lessons learned was how to love.

How to be proud to show your love.

I can feel your love in the air.

From your last breath you left it there.

Questions I have I can't get from you.

But you answered enough to see me through.

All that I am came from you.
