My sister and my friend will be coming with me, and this is my sister's first road trip so I kind of want to make it special rather than just driving through the country as quickly as we can. We'll be pretty much on the 10 freeway all the way home. Any "must stop" places along the way? Food, scenery, whatever... Not too far off the 10 and I will be hauling a small trailer, so not any place that's too hard to drive. Link to comment

mrsSonherchest Posted November 14, 2014 Share Posted November 14, 2014 I've done that drive a couple times and second NOLA (New Orleans, LA). Check out Bourbon Street... San Antonio's cool, too. If you like sports, concerts, or festivals you can also see what's going on in any of the bigger towns you'll be passing through to help build your itinerary around some events. Safe travels!
