2 braces later and my teeth slip again

Hi all, I've had 2 braces in the last 10 years, and all of a sudden this week I have a sudden gap in my teeth forming at the front. Since I really don't know whats caused it, what do you think I can do? Im thinking of calling my dentist and asking about it. In the meantime, should I put my retainer back in and see if that helps?

Sadly, even if you use braces, you have to use your retainer or some kind of a night guard for the rest of your life to keep your teeth in place.

If you don't like using a day retainer, talk to the dentist about getting a night one you wear when you sleep.
