Which is worse? Murderers or the demon possessed?

Recently, a pastor at my church was on a current affair program to explain why he had fooled the whole congregation into believing he had cancer.

He would talk about how God was going to heal him (he didnt have cancer) and would travel nowhere without his oxygen mask and tank.

His lies have damaged countless lives, mine included, and he has caused many people to walk away from God and church.

I suspect he was abused as a child and was forced to create some kind of split personality to cope with lifes demands and this was carried out to a a full extreme as he grew older.

Is there anything worse than what he has done? Such as murder?

What could be worse than ruining peoples lives? Murder at least ends ones suffering - but igniting fear within people creates ongoing suffering that may effect generations to come.
