I found out about this from a friend.. So sad and scary I really hope all involved are ok!

My dad and brother-in-law were running. Both are okay, but... gosh, who does this kind of crap?

Last report I read said 12 are dead so far but we know how numbers go right after something like this.

3rd explosion happened at JFK library

i condemn the the bomb attack at the Boston marathon and i pray for the safety and God`s blessing of the deceased ones. and i wish the authorities arrest the responsible and punish them bu the fullest extent of the law, watching the news right now, 2 dead and 23 injured, early to say if its terrorist attack.

Sad day for Boston. I love Boston. Been on that sidewalk on Boylston right on that spot and have taken the T from the JFK/U.Mass station near the Library a number of times.

Such a sad thing to happen in such a wonderful, vibrant city. I loved Boston when I visited because it was so full of life and the people were so welcoming.

I wonder what will happen with regards to security for the London marathon on Sunday.

As of now, there are two dead, and 23 injured. So sad to hear of the fatalities, those injured and their families.

Gut wrenching. My thoughts and prayers are for Bostonites and everyone affected. Grateful for the First Responders, Emergency Workers, and all who turned to another and lent a hand or a hug.

Just really upset this happened. Families just go to have good time and this happen. I'm really upset to see humans treated like this. Vent over.

i feel your anger man...i work down the road from sandy hook school...i drive by it every day ..same feeling of pain...so i def understand where ur coming from with your vent...i dont understand either..seems like its happening more often

I just read that one of the dead is an 8 year old girl. I have a friend who goes to marathons and I am hoping she was not at this one. I left her a message and I hope I hear back soon.

This is so extremely sad and heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected.

Too much evil exists in the world today and too many innocent people are hurt because of the actions of someone whose main goal is to cause grief, as a result of their own unhappiness with the world. My heart goes out the the victims and their families.

It's all so sad. My town had a lot of people who went up there for the marathon. Luckily they are all accounted for and ok, but sadly so many others are not.

Such senseless violence. I once lived there for a few years and strolled through that area often and cheered friends who ran the marathon. Can't believe that it's now the site of such tragedy. I really don't understand how some people can do this to innocent people. My thoughts and heart to everyone in Boston.
