" 'I couldn't get you out of my mind' "

On TV or in movies, when a man asks a woman out on a second date, he often tells her that he really wants to see her again because "I [just] couldn't get you out of my mind".

In TV and movies, girls always seem happy to hear this. But I can't imagine that a girl in real life would be happy to hear a man say this; it sounds like the man is obsessed with her, or a stalker, to me.

What do you think? Is this phrase actually something girls are happy to hear? Thank you.

It all depends on the woman and how she feels towards you. If you are frequently on her mind as well, I think she would love hearing this. On the other hand, if she's not feeling the fireworks with you, then this may come off as a little obsessive or needy.

exactly. it really depends. if i just met the guy and haven't had a chance to get to know him and genuinely like him and he says this to me, im either gonna think "game" or "wow, get a life".

Haha as previously stated it depends on your kind of girl, and how much she likes the guy!

If I really like someone I have them on my mind all the time, and would love to hear he's having the same problem.
