    Neil Gaiman

Anyone else heard of this eccentric author? I've only recently read some of his works...The Sandman...Harlequin Valentine...Angels and Visitations...Harlequin Valentin was by far the cutest I've read from him. He's like a combination of comic book with the original. And the illustrators in his books and comics and such are extraordinary, they're certainly able to capture his eclectic mood. So: Anyone heard of him?

My Dad absolutely loves him, I'm always hunting down a book for his birthday or something. The ones I have read all took place in England (my Dad is English). Didn't quite work for me, but there are other fans out there!

In fact... Neil's got a new one out. Picked it up for Christmas

Yeah, he's one of my favorite fiction-authors. I haven't read any of the comics he's written (unless Coraline counts as one), but his novels I've liked a lot. Well, those that I've read, anyway. A personal favorite is Stardust - read it before the movie is out! - but Neverwhere and American Gods (which happens in America, mostly) are pretty good, too.

I thought Harlequin Valentine had the best ending! Cause isn't that what romance is about? Spreading it around to everyone? Superb illustrations too

Read American Gods and found him too reminiscent of the Clive Barker books I read as a misunderstood student.
