"Men are never too shy to approach the girl they really like"

Ive heard this from quite a few men......
If a guy is truly interested, Shyness wont stop him?

    Is this true/false?

If it were true, a large number of shy guys wouldn't be suffering so much, although the added attraction may pull him from his shell just a bit.

Well, Im not a guy but I don't think anything should stop you from going for someone you are interested in. Wether it be shyness, or intimidation. But it's also a big factor and a lot of men, even women won't pursue things because of those reasons. I agree with Dako.

Not true, the type of guy this is coming from probably has no issue with approaching women they are interested in. There are shy guys out there who it absolutely terrifies them to approach a girl, no matter how much they are into her.

    Prettyone,

    THREE WEEKS!
In my book he's a player!

My ex asked me out first, and it took me about a month to give in!
Of course, that was during the Carter administration, so maybe I've changed.

Is this a joke? What in the world does asking someone out in 3 weeks have to do with being a player?

[QUOTE=prettyview;1315265]LOL Tell us how you really feel Clem!!

It took my ex 3 weeks to get up the nerve to ask me out. He said that he could barely talk to me let alone ask me out. I think they do/will when they stop hyperventilating

    I just know from experience
It's getting much better though - too many missed chances...one does get tired of kicking oneself.

In most cases I would say this is true unless the guy is just painfully shy. Sometimes they are.

That's what a confident guy will do. Your average guy doesn't enjoy putting himself in that situation unless he knows for sure that you're into him.

I'm the same way. I shouldn't be that way - no one should - but we can't all be perfect like some of our fellow posters.
